We have visitors travelling from London to Scotland, walking and cycling the Lands End to John O Groats,and walking the Leeds to Liverpool canal . Blackpool pleasure beach is a 30 minute drive away. Southport, Botany Bay, Wigan Pier and Lancaster are also a short journey away. Manchester and the Trafford centre are 30 miles away and Liverpool and Liverpool airport are both about 25 minutes by car. Local towns include Chorley, Wigan, Leyland and Preston City. We certainly seem to be in the centre of things. The railway and bus station are ten minutes walk and we are happy to book a taxi for you if the stroll with luggage seems daunting M6 and M61 motorway networks nearby. The proprietor Jackie has appeared on the Loose Woman TV programme, ranting about the state of the bacon sold in Supermarkets in this country today, so we invite you to try our Ashley Farm bacon, sausage and free range eggs ..Thick, tasty and very fresh!! Vegetarian Menu also available. As you can see we are a small business with a very big heart. Try us, you won t be disappointed.
